I deeeply wish that TonyG gets better. He is an active member and we can only wish for his comeback.

Wow, Tony's mother seems like a wonderful woman, I am glad we can be of some comfort to her and her family.

 

praying is one thing and everyone has there own religious beliefs, but pray if you need to, but come on guys, its not about religion, its about wishing a good guy good health, im not religious at all and i dont belive in god, but i dont preach that to you all, just hope tonyG has a good recovery

 

You are correct. That is the reason why I decided to titled the thread "Let us pray for and wish well to @TonyG " I was fully aware that not everyone believes in a God. BUT I am not an atheist and do believe in God and the power of prayers. Therefore, prayer was intended for believers, and get well wishes (positive energy) for those who are non-believers. There should not even exist a hint of controversy here considering my intentions with the creation of this thread. Both believers and non- believers need to respect one another's choice.

 

A way we all could help - beside of prayers and/or good wishes - is with the donation of blood for people in a similar situation as @TonyG.

I completely agree with you bro ! Some of us wish and some of us pray...it is all positive so it is my belief that no one should be offended... We have enough of that going on in this world can we all just be positive and respect others thoughts ,wishes and or prayers and hope for @TonyG .swift recovery ! I love all of you an I don't care what you believe lets Rock together and make this happen \m/

Wellllll, among many many things you could think of him as our 'Chief Legal Correspondent.'

He is an excellent 'voice of reason' when things start spiraling out of control.

And he's just plain knowledgeable on a plethora of topics and likable and in his own words 'Concise.'

Others can tell you more. Those are just my personal observations.

such sad news i really hope he recovers well and soon.

alcohol is the most dangerous drug period, people are not even remotely aware of this
its the nature of this substance to loose any ability of rational thinking, responsibility, fear......the list goes on and on

don't even consider to drink "one beer" if you have a car key in your pocket, one beer often is not the last one....

i learned it the hard way, lost 3 good friends to drunken drivers

there is hope for @TonyG

a good friend of mine was 6 months in a coma, he had an accident because drunken like hell, he had no clue....
for him it was like: going on a party and then waking up 6 months later in the hospital, his girl friend was gone (what a Btch! btw) and he was forced to learn again how to speak, eat, walk...
its a true miracle how he survived and recovered, pretty well

since then, he never touched alcohol again.
its easier to learn things the hard way, unfortunately ....

another one killed 2 young girls at the age of 12 and 13, driving way too fast at night in a town, obviously drunk...
he is now full of pills and has a destroyed life, he will never recover from what he has done...
most of time he cannot eat, sleep and much more....its just terrible, 3 ruined life in one accident

i never drove drunk, never had a car accident, sober for 5 years now, fck alcohol....

we're all adults here right? supposed to be able ignore things we find objectionable ..
( I think I saw some mod post something like that recently )
then go ahead and ignore a few words just pay attention to the well wishing..no one is forcing anyone to "pray" ,
there are all sorts of things not worth reading in this forum..

as for me I will again say a little prayer for @TonyG 's speedy recovery
