Last summer I have discovered this great web radio.

Its a french initiative and offers many different channels to select based on your preferences Personnaly I like the 80ies and Golden channel.

It is free without pub besides their station indicative.

It has a web version of course but also a mobile application for Android and Ios.

For me, listening to it brings back great memories and surprisingly, they play songs that never made the charts back then so to my taste they offer a very good programation.

I thought I would share it with you guys

Been listening for 15 minutes and haven't heard one beat-mix, and the video of the song on the right is out of synch with the song playing. The word 'mix' in radio is a bad idea: to some people mix means a mix of genres, to others (like me) it means mixes of different songs to the same beat. The audio quality is good and the songs are great but they failed me on the above.

 

I'm in radio business for 20+ years, and take it from me - there's nothing wrong with the name. It's cacthy, easily remembered and multilingual.
'HotMix Radio' means it plays continuous mix of 'hot' or good songs in their playlists and they do just that.
There are also spelcial mix shows featuring names like Don Diablo, Laurent Schark, Chris Liebing, Defected label and so on...

In the end it's all about the music. If it's good you will listen, if it's not you move to another station. Regardless the name

Pub in English has a very different meaning and is a lot more fun.
