    Hi Guys
    Please someone help me
How can I play the midi while I'm drawing the melody like Deadmou5 in the following video? (watch the first few mins)

bcaz each time that I hit the space it plays the midi form the beginning !
I need to hear the new notes/Chords that I've just draw !

    Best regards

highlight the portion of the midi you would like to work on, and press, CTRL+L or CMD+L to loop the selected area

or hold ALT (Option) and press the Space Bar. This plays the last drawn (or selected) MIDI note.
Space Bar on its own plays from beginning.

think you talked about ableton 9 ?
I use ableton 10 and use ctrl+spacebar for this.
And it's only works in arrangement view not in session view :(

It's been a while sir Herr.

@guitarie You're right. Ctrl+Space in Windows, Alt+Space in macOS. This applies to Live 10 and only to Arrangement View. This is where deadmau5 was working in the op's video.

It's fascinating to me the way this guy composes. He plays the piano roll like I used to play Civilization.
