My setup:
Im running latest version of Kontakt (5.81) on a laptop with a Win7/64bit system, Intel 2.4 GHz/8 cores incl. 16 Gb RAM.

With some libraries/patches Kontakt goes up to 60 - 90% cpu!

Is there a way I can minimize problem?

I disable multi thread in Kontakt stand alone and vst, or it would conflict with the mutlithreading in Samplitude or Vienna, even Reaper. But then obviously in stand alone it chokes a lot earlier, but I never use kontakt in stand alone.
Did you disable in the options in kontakt for multi threading ? Then that would be the source of your problem. I don't see why it would choke so easily with your set up, not unless you run several cpu hungry libraries at once.

He's asking you up to where the voice number goes when you play.

On my side, i disabled multithreading in both Kontakt & FL Studio & so far it goes smoothly.

What I do mostly with saving CPU in Kontakt is purging all samples. It will save memory aswell. Nice win situation. The purge option stands right next to where you can see the amount of voices. With which daw do you work?

Im mainly running Kontakt as standalone for testing.

Tried all your suggestions, but:
I appriciate all your effords guiding me to a solution, but its all the same = very high cpu!

There must be some kind of solution to this ...... I´ll do another search on the internet.
