This is the first Piano (or any instrument app) I've ever played. So yeah I'm a noob...there I said it. I think I played around with some toy apps many years ago and that ding dong sound completely discouraged me from trying better apps...till I bought this one. To my surprise it doesn't sound bad at all. I mean for the price it actually sound very good. I can see how useful it could be for practice, rehearsal, educational purposes...etc.

This is the only instrument app on my iPad at the moment, but I think I'll get a few more. I got my eyes on iLektric from IK and the Scarbee EP expansion for Korg Module so far.

Share your thoughts on some good iOS instrument apps.

you should have a look at the synthesizers that are available, some are really good and versatile

 

Beathawk, although it may not look like it, has a few nice in-app purchases including a 337MB quality grand piano.
The 177MB-sized EP, a Rhodes mk2 sounds OK too.
They said the IAPs were on sale until yesterday, but the sale still seems to be on atm.
Korg Module is more expensive but you definitely get sounds that are among the best on iOS.
If you want something even better, also check out the Ravenscroft 275 grand piano, still on sale too (sale is also said to end June 18).
