Yes, it's a great piece of software, very useful for mice that have no native support for configuring the buttons. I've always preferred gaming mice with 11 buttons, and I use their native software for that purpose. They are great for the most useful DAW shortcuts, like Undo, delete etc. I used Logitech Set Point for years, but my MX Revolution stopped working, so now I'm using Razer Synapse for my Ouroboros mouse. According to my experience, Logitech mice are by far the best and so are their drivers.

upgraded advanced scrolling? Does that add smooth scrolling to windows ?

mmhhh, somehow my 2 buttons on the sides of my logitech don't get overridden. do i have to install the logitech super-bloated driver package?
