    Ah, now I see. Your version sounds better, no doubt.
    Sometimes when bd, (sn) and bass sound together (on bar 1 and 2, mostly), the bass frequencies are too loud/a bit boomy. Maybe use sidechain compression on bass or a subgroup and a dynamic eq to prevent this.
