Could anybody please recap what this drama is all about?

The ultimatum of banning or leaving feels alarming / borderline ego-trippy. Was this a justified decision? I need to know!

 

At least this is better than MAC Vs PC threads

 

This isn't supposed to be a binary situation (you go or I go). I admit that I am not really aware of what's going on between you guys but I assume it can be solved peacefully without having to kill anyone...

Yeah the bad ratings can be obnoxious at first. I don't have that many but there's always that first 5-10 minutes where I see the nasty rating and get a little ticked off at the person. But it's not like it's 44 different people. It's more like 5 or 6.
But then again I've given out almost 3x more of them. But that's only if I truly see someone being rude on here. If I really think that they truly deserve it. Like trolls and/or people who just talk too much trash.

Yes, I've even had people from here go on my soundcloud and say some pretty harsh things about my music. I've had people message me here with some pretty bad words. I'm still here. In the end, it's all about your outlook on people.
But will I let the 5 or 6 people ruin the fun I get from the plethora of awesome people I've met here? No way!!!!!
I would also greatly miss SpyFx as well but in the end he will do what is right for him. We can't pressure him to stay if he doesn't want to be here. I will respect his wishes regardless.

My point is, people are rude anywhere. You can't let that drive you away. I'd rather let the good people be the reason I stay than the bad people be the reason I leave. In the end, love and kindness will always be more powerful than hatred and rudeness.

@Spyfxmk2 if you do leave, at least drop me a PM first so we can exchange emails/social media and stay in touch.

 

It of course can easily be resolved, from my side, it already is. I erred in judgement, tried to make amends, now I'm over it. I can do no more, and truth be told, don't see why I should have to now. The ball is very much out of my court and has been for days.

I thought I was left with no other option, but on reflection, given the way things have gone, I'm at peace with it now.
I walk past and ignore people I have no respect for every day. I'm sure that's the same for most people here, so obviously it can be done.

Some people aren't resistant to slashing censures or even self-criticisms and some others want to use their thoughts as a yardstick against which to measure other deeds, perhaps it's natural maybe because we have just one brain.

I fess up have done it too but it's been for widening the experimentation road for bigger thoughts and not cleaving to special types of productions.

It's okay, by the looks of it, the pending deletion dramarama appears to be over, for now at least. Just like some of us hoped but sort of expected it would be.

 

The only thing usually doesn't change is the humans' brains. They work like the tonal music, return to the home-mind at the end. If you live enough amongst us, you'd get used to that.

 

Lol, been there done that, genetically modified the cotton plants that make the tee shirts ;)

 

No Von_Steyr in the members' list. He left the heaven toward ... . Seeking his fortune where as an uprooted?

Do not look back foster.., the question is not whether Von_Steyr left, or is no longer present.. Instead only ask yourself if Von_Steyr was a voice in your head, a whisper, he is probably sleeping with your sister as we speak! ..do not let him babysit your cats.....
