I hate seeing anyone talented get ripped off. I do not feel too differently. I just have a procedure like brushing my teeth - I write - then log it...next... :)

You guys were bragging about your basses.......

welcome @MMJ2017 He's harmless, guys, and a wealth of info.
I've never played anything fan-fretted. It's got to be weird at first.
I had a $200 Rondo Music Les Paul which was fantastic.

Sorry if you saw it as bragging. That was not the intent. Any bass can sound great if the player is good and the bass has decent intonation, whether it costs $20 or $200,000.
When someone asks "What are the basses you have that do not go out of tune"... after 40 years of playing you kind of know.

    I should've put a smiley icon.
Of course guitar and bass players get to brag about their axes. We don't have much else left.:)

How about a 24 string bass.

    :woot:
Initially I thought not that many notes covered on a piano???? I just realised looking closer that he he has a 12 string bass with octave strings like a 12 string guitar.
    Yes that's pretty special.

I would like to play around wit the stems you have posted if that is ok. I really like the rawness and feel that your family did here.

This reminds me my brother-in-law who is a bassist. I asked him about the last bass he got. A beauty made by this relatively new bass luthier, so it's not (very) expensive yet.
He was telling me like "so, it's kind of an inversion if he succeeds". But the look in his eyes... I don't see him selling it... I even don't see his wife (my sis) liking that look LOL

Thanks. That's all my crazy daughter.
    Please feel free.
This is the hi harmony.....sounds strange at times alone.

    The low harmony

The lead....the guitar bleed is manageable after normal muting procedures?

Just remember to tune to A = 432Hz
    60 bpm

the 37" scale length aspect and multiple comments related to tuning stability.Next the incredibly low price for that scale length and neck through multiscale. I seen maye 6 or 7 comments which their content tied directly to the specs of this bass ( in terms of some may be interested in it ) not any intense argument from me though
    just food for thought .

Wouldn't it be better to create a thread about this bass instead?
In case you didn't notice, This thread is about a composer looking for someone to add a bass part to a song, it's not about what ever bass related ...

(could have not notice as there are already a lot of comment completely off topic..)

My apologies, after reading bunch of the comments , mine was kind of directed to a bunch of them in general .Not intended to interrupt or distract. Thanks for your input my friend.
I didn't have too much to say about it not enough to create a new thread , just thought be interesting small comment to some if not my apologies.
the reason I thought it would be interesting to a bunch of people that had posted comments, is due to the specifications and price.

The reason why those specifications come into play is due to a 37" scale tuned to standard 5 string will give you extra tension and clarity the harmonics of the string itself will be brighter so you get more clarity , more stability of tuning all at a price of $500 for a fanned fret neck through design.
I myself have only seen bass with these specs in the thousands of dollars range, so when factoring all that related to all the comments, I wanted to share that information in case it is very helpful to some that had not known about it that's all my friend.

I am not bass player or drummer but I have insomnia like mo'fo.... I was reading this thread and got to the part where I thought I was going to hear BassDude play and then it wasn't there I was so sad that I made my own shitty version of it.

Maybe we could get a post of a mix with the bass part - I mean this is like some tease and deny ../ :( or I got mine now yall can go now.
