Must be many who, like me, have been gaming since the olde worlde pong days. What you working your way through now?

I started on black and white pong, before the colour version, atari, zx81, spectrums, c64, amiga and ST's before moving to consoles like PS1, PS2, Xbox and the 360.
Never been in to pc gaming, mainly because I like joysticks and controllers, but I have dabbled on a non gaming machine.

My favourites are the Halo series, Half life, Fifa, Portal, Left4Dead, Doom, Quake arena in multi player and loads of others like Serious Sam and Forza.

 

Hooked since ZX Spectrum But I don't play anymore. Thinking bout designing a little game tho

 

Veteran gamer here! In fact, I feel more of a gamer than a musician or producer. My PC is always split between a games setup (with 7.1 sound card, joysticks, TrackIR, 3D glasses for Tridef etc.) and a music production setup (with dedicated sound card, pro audio speakers, midi controllers, pedals etc.). Yes, a split personality PC, inefficient perhaps, but it has some advantages, too. My experience with all kinds of joysticks and gamepads has improved my skill in using controllers like Maschine studio.
Games? Oh, yes, hundreds of them. But I spent most of the time with my favorite ones which are: Il-2 Sturmovik simulator, Thief series (especially Thief 2 with the hundreds of addons), Assassin's creed series, Half Life series, Total War series and of course adventures.

I started in the 80s with the zx81 then moved to the commodore 64. At the time I was amazed by the graphics which were looking so realistic to me.

I had a five years pause due to the university then got back into gaming in the mid 90s with Doom and Quake.

Right now I'm split between games (x-com, wolfenstein... ) and music among other things.

My first console was a Playstation 1 (loved crash bandicoot) (since owned a ps2, Xbox360) and now own a ps4 (Love the exclusives like The Last of Us, Heavy Rain, Beyond 2 souls) and a gaming pc running a 1070 oc edition.. Life caught up with me though and now I don't have time to game no more, and when I do I don't really get immersed like I used to. Barely have time to make Music these days

 

Never had any Game Console in my life

I started with C64 in the early 90s, my favorite games were: Rick Dangerous, Montezuma's Revenge, Flimbo's Quest, Giana Sisters, Ikari Warriors, International Karate +, The Last Ninja, and so on.

I also have favorite games on pc: Commandos, Fallout 1.2, Half-Life 1,2, Call Of Duty 1,2,3,4, Anno 1602, Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, and so on.

 

Veteran gamer. My favourite game is/was "Lands of Lore - Throne of Chaos". I'm playing CRPGs and ArmA -> i.e. fiddling and modding.

 

After I lost my left arm and almost my life in a horrible collision captaining my ship and at the controls while playing Asteroids at the game lounge in the student center at university, I haven't gone near a game since.

Owned quite a few consoles over the past 36 years Ive been playing games but I initially started on this relic back in 1982:



Now the only game I play is Warface

Still got an Atari 2600 and a Colecovision and a buttload of game carts. Haven't played in an age.

My Addiction however was Descent II. Still play (A newer Hi-Res version) a coupla times a month as a total relaxation down time sorta thang.
