Hi guys,

I have upgraded to the latest version of SO and everything works fine except for the Softube plugins that are not detected.

This is starting to be a big PITA because I started a few projects in the previous version that used some of these plugins and right now they are not detected in v4.

I already firewalled the two SO exe so there are no internet connection incoming or outgoing from SO. The plugin

Hopefully someone successfully uses SO v4 with the Softube plugins on Win10?
Any suggestions?

 

find the installation folder of where you install the soft tube plug-ins then add that folder to your vst scan location in Studio one

 

well i had them working in win 10 x64 before the april 1803 update, they crash S1 and live so uninstalled them, same issue with SSL Duende

 

just buy the softube plugins and you will see that they are working . the cracked ones had an developer error bug with win 10 compatibility , which was corrected after the cracked ones .

Starting SO in Win8 Compatibility Mode did the trick. This is kind of weird but it works!

On a side note, the xln addictive plugin keygens only work for a DAW in compatibility mode if you run the key gen in compatibility mode too

 

make studio one 4 win 8 compatible
delete softube plugins on vst folder
install softube plugins with admin rights

stay away from windows 10 , win8.1 is the daug

 

Did somebody find some trick to use Softube stuff in win10 or have I to add this issue to the infinite win10 shit report column?
Does compatibility mode (win 8?) decrease Studio One performance? Ableton is great, it doesn'show it at all...LOL

 

A number of ilok based plugins have issues with Studio One 3.5/4.xx, including auto-tune 8.1, certain waves mercury bundle plugins, ect. Running Studio One in compatibility mode used to a decent fix, but now running S1 in compatibility mode breaks Omnisphere 2.5/2.6. Omnisphere 2.5 is completely unusable when win 8 compatibility mode is on. When you turn compatablity mode off, Omnisphere works fine, but then everything else is broken.

Anyone know a solution to get all of these plugins working nicely together in S1 and windows 10?

 

The compatibility trick does work for that release ,the plugs have been have been optimised since then. And from what I have seen the performance is not a big deal.

 

many old vst only work on windows 7. windows 7 the best

and you need to have the complete package of c ++. of 2005. 2008. 2010. 2012. 2013 and 2017.
2015 does not need because 2017 is an update of 2015

 

Yes, I know, I've already installed it on my win 7 daw, but I'm testing win10 for a "future" possible migration

I know as well, but low budget issues suggested me to still use Audioutopia stuff

 

use "jBridge". I solved it this way.

Thing is, he's right, the legit SO4 and the legit Softube plugs work together flawlessly.

It's not about blaming you because you can't afford to be legit too. I understand that and I think Tintin does too.

It's about people who post cracked Studio One Four support requests on the basis that because they're morons and the software doesn't do what they think it should, it's crap software. I'll help anybody with an SO4 support issue if I can, but the world doesn't owe you a DAW.
