do you record clips into arrangement to a finished track ?

 

yeah u can, strange idea . but u never know u can come up with something great sounding. i never did it

 

i thinking bout some time now...i get nice drops in clips relative fast but i went on to do more in arrangement view and get more into build up and such.....
rec arrangement from clips (especially with launchpads) could be nice starting structure and save a shitload on time ....
the audiostem tracks you need anyway when not bouncing all in midi like some do...

 

THat's what you do with Ableton.
You can drag clips into arrangement or capture scenes. if you are on one screen use the tab key: you can left click and hold on a clip(s) and arrangement and session will swap and you can drop the clip and vice versa,.. rtm it's all in there.. tonnes of info on youtube...
