I was 14 years old when this was released .... & yes i bought it with my own money
i'm still listening to the Album & having a GoOD look at the ARTWORK,the inside sleeve changed my life

Music for the Jilted Generation is the second studio album by English electronic music group The Prodigy. It was first released on 4 July 1994 by XL Recordings in the United Kingdom and by Mute Records in the United States. Similarly to the group’s debut album Experience (1992), Maxim Reality was the only group member from the lineup besides Liam Howlett to contribute to the album.

A remastered and expanded edition of the album titled More Music for the Jilted Generation was released in 2008 :bow::bow::bow:

I'm torn between Emmerson Lake & Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery cover and the Beatles White Album. I guess the Beatles one won't show too well here, so here's ELP instead.

These are a few of my favorite covers, they're eclectic, but I listen to everything from Sam Cooke to Necrophagist, so....
They all come from bands that I love. (Blue Oyster Cult gets an honorable mention for basically any of their covers.)

Many of you may not know this, but this last one is the original artwork Axl Rose had envisioned, and then had drawn by a local artist, for Gn'R's first album (well, second, technically,) but, surprise, surprise, the record label wasn't having any of it.

My first LP, or in America: album.

I was seven or so in 1964 and already had "Can't Buy Me Love", a (mono) single on the Parlophone label. Then someone in our family came back from the States, with among other stuff, this U.S. release on the Capitol label, aimed to cash in on the huge reception The Beatles had met on their first visit to America. Why is this my favourite album cover of all time? Well, a few reasons. It inspired me to start playing guitar at a very young age. I was rather fascinated by John's unusual-shape Rickenbacker guitar, which you didn't see elsewhere. But also the distinctive Gretsch Country Gentleman as played by George, the Beatle in the middle, had me excited and wanting one too. The picture as a whole, from one of The Beatles' earliest TV appearances in the U.S. shows them at the pinnacle of their fame. To many the later albums are more important, but for me The Beatles really is about all of 1963 and the first five months into 1964. That's up to and including (the recording of) "A Hard Day's Night", my favourite Beatles album, contentwise. I'll elaborate some other time. Anyway all of the above is why I (still) like this particular LP cover a lot.

    Something New Color Corrected.jpg

Oh yes as about wanting a Gretsch too, at sixteen I got hold of an intensively played but pristinely kept Country Gentleman of original specs just like George Harrison had, which I've still got. It's from 1963/64, serial # 69969. I guess as a school kid I just wanted to become a Beatle. And I suppose as an old guy there's no reason to conclude I didn't.
