Hi guys, hope you're all fine.

I'm currently looking for instruments, sound banks, patches, presets, drum samples, everything that could get me in the right way to achieve this Smooth Jazz sexyness.

I haven't found any kind of tip around the net so maybe you can help me!

The only thing I'm certain it's the heavy use of Rhodes (high register playing with that bell quality, saturated lows) something I can easily achieve with Lounge Lizard.

P.s. This song causes addiction, be careful.
    Thanks in advance!

If you think THAT is addictive, listen to Expansions:-

As for the sounds, I suggest trying the Latin Urban vst (Sister site)

Latin Urban? It sucks. Even for the genre for which it was intended: Reggeaton. Just my opinion. Try Impact Soundworks' Archtop Hollowbody Electric Guitar, Pettinhouse Warm Jazz Guitar, SaxLAb, Orange Tree Samples Pure Jazz Vibes(vibraphone) Specrasonics Tirlian (bass) Chris Hein Brass.

I know on the surface it doesn't look like much, but if you are going for a jazzy or a Latina Jazzy feel, then you could do a fair bit worse than use Latin Urban. I worked on one of George Benson's Old Jazz Tracks called Breezin using Latin Urban for everything, including drums.

I'm almost finished and will upload it here soon as I can.

I will love to hear what you did with it. I am an admirer of George Benson's work.

Well I know George is obviously a renowned jazz guitarist, but I altered this version to highlight the vst's versatility.

See what you think. Remember, no other instruments were used!

Considering that only Latin Urban was used I think you did one hell of a job but for jazz I will opt for warmer and more natural sounding vsts. Thanks for sharing it!

Cheers for saying so, although i think that is partly my fault for the way i mastered the track.

I find this version easier on my ears. Only problem I have with it is with brass instruments. Almost strident and not realistic sounding. At least to my ears. I of course being a fan of Benson will always nitpick. Once again, thanks for sharing and most importantly for not taking my criticism personally.

On the contrary. I welcome it. Constructive criticism is what makes a person improve!

I quite enjoy a challenge. I'm wondering if the harshness of the brass instruments are to do with the samples in that vst or whether or not I could have eq them better.

@Sylenth.Will.Fall the problem is the VST itself. As I told the OP earlier, I wouldn't use it for jazz. I will do some reggaeton with it, some salsa or merengue but nothing else

Real congas, shakers, Rhodes, flute, Rogers drumkit, Fender Precision bass, Solina String, lots of cocain and LSD. Get a few friends over and play all night long.

    Oh. VSTi and Kontakt library?
    Don't know. ;)
