Yep, probably a summer hit. Catchy melody, well produced, mixed and mastered. I'm only missing some very low frequencies.

nice. the question was if its a hit.

hmm.. my critique corresponds to the level where this is and since this is a pro release I would say verse, chorus are fine but, when the chorus repeats and instruments hit vocals could maybe reach a higher pitch? or more powerful expression?

feels like the energy just lumbers on a bit without variation and at this level that makes or breaks a tracks hit potential since you are fighting the space with the heavy artillery.
if not, a remix could help to bring more excitement, nothing dramatic just add further slight climax/variation.

but overall, totally ok commercial pop.
have worked as programmer and would list it for a commercial station, at least run a couple of weeks.

Ok , this is a very good well thought out cleverly written track, good song writer this guy, and awesome vocals too.
Since you asked for opinions, just a couple of niggles from my point of view...

The guitar/synth sound and what it is doing is not working for me in the second half of the choruses at 1.12, 2.24, 3.04
Perhaps try something different, or at least take the volume of it down a little.
Also, I think he should change the word "fucking" to something that is not a profanity, for me it is cheapening what is a great track overall.

Anyway, not meant as offensive or disrespectful, just my opinions on a couple of minor points.

This is the best track I've ever heard here, and I think he has a bright future ahead if he can continue to write and perform tracks like that, all the best to your mate, go for it

Quality is not bad but it sounds like any other EDM(pop) out there. The vocalist has potential. The track is professionally produced. If you manage to get a lot of media support it can be hit material. In the EDM-pop realm is more a question of media support than music. Make a video with a good history behind and it can be a hit.

I would say that the #1 factor is the performing artist's "score- card" and world reputation - The "bigger" name - the more streams.

#2 I agree is "Media support" and is a bombardement from all the channels of the digital world we live in today - may be anything from a viral social media post to a "digital God's" fantasies - like Elon Musk in an interview - "Right now we are all characters of a "Sims"-like computergame... that someone is playing and pulling our strings in real time".
