Hi guys,
just installed my most important VST-Plugins under Windows 10 for Ableton Live Suite 10.
My Go-To Plugins from Valhalla (Room, Plate and VintageVerb) are running fine after the installation.
But two of them doesn't shown in Ableton: Valhalla Shimmer and Valhalla UberMod.
I tried ValhallaDSP ValhallaShimmer v1.0.3.4 and v1.0.2 (64bit) but Ableton does not indicate them
though both dll's (ValhallaShimmer_x64.dll and ValhallaUberMod_x64.dll) are in the same folder like
the other Plugins!
Any ideas why they not visible in Ableton?

 

Did you try moving them out of the vst folder scanning the folder them moving them back in? Also make sure Live is running in windows 8 compatibility.

 

Tried to remove ValhallaShimmer_x64.dll from VSTPlugins folder, started Live in "Win8 Compatibility Mode" and last scanned Plugins.
Still not visible. Same with just installed "Valhalla Freq Echo" which is a free plugin!

 

I've got the same problem with these Plugins and even now with Sylenth1 .. it seems that Live 10 is blacklisting some cracked Plugins.
That's the only explanation I could imagine.
I reinstalled things over and over again, in Live 9 it works like a charm.

I tried Valhalla Shimmerthe older version 1.02 and that worked. Then I thought now I can installer the newer version
v1.0.3.4 but this isn't running. And what about "Valhalla Freq Echo" ? This is NOT cracked! It's a free plugin!
This must be another problem!

Installing "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC 64bit" now all Valhalla Plugins are working!

I installed the Microsoft visual c++ 2010 but the Valhalla shimmer and Uber mod only worked in FL Studio but fails to be recognized in studio one 4. Please I need to fix this as I don't want to use FL Studio anymore
