I even re-installed and it's still broken. I tried 2-3 diff sylenth versions, still broken/same error. Win 10 update does not like sylenth apparently no other issues with vsts with update just sylenth is there anyway someone can patch this?

Install the first Sylenth version you used, and use Revo Uninstaller.

Yeah.. its a really missleading line.. Maybe i should start another thread.. "CONFIRMED, ALMOST all Sylenth versions DO work in new Win 10 update" or something like that.. Hitting the big drum stating missleading info isnt good.. Even if im sure that users using it will know what the deal is and not..

IN other words it works just fine here even if its the legal version im talking about here..

Windows 10, now? Count me out!!! I only intend to migrate to windows 10 maybe in two years, as it's a very nervous and unstable system... It updates too much, which causes endless temporary bugs!

I have a desktop with windows 7 x64 and a notebook with windows 8.1 x64 running smoothly and I intend to let things stay in this way for a while!

 

Hey now, let's not be too hard on the OP. That post really saved me time debugging my problems.

My Windows 10 updated last night, and I've been unable to load the few Ableton Live sessions that I've tried. Since the program starts fine, and only crashes when opening a session, I've assumed it's due to some dodgy specific-plugin problem. But seeing this post narrowed down the problem right away, and I can confirm that my sets are loading fine once I move Sylenth out of my VST plugins path.

Yes, the title of the thread is a bit alarmist and an overstatement, but instead of focusing on that, can people chime in about which versions of Sylenth are working/broken under the latest Windows 10 update?

My broken version: Sylenth1 v2.2.1

Sylenth1 problems with Windows 10 v1803+ (Redstone 4 if I remember well).

 

The OP has been made aware of the misleading title and has not corrected it, now it is time for the MODS to edit the title in order to avoid confusion. By the way, the Forum's rules stipulate in pertinent part that "posts may be edited by moderators to fix formatting, rename thread".

 

By the way, they also happen on Spire when changing presets the plugin freeze and boom crash and says
"The plugin was disabled because of a error during processing"

My audio interface quit working with the new update. I rolled it back and now it's working fine. I fucking hate Windows 10.

Roll back windows to before this update, you can google how and it will work. I had this same issue.

 

I just hacked Win10 to shits so that it can't/won't update. Just thought I'd share. No problems here.
