is this referring to Torrent sites or and sharing sites to because here to in the US AT&T is starting to implement there Six Strike policy with threatening money fines and a possible internet restrictions and or internet termination for people they think are downloading copyrighted materiel i dont know how they are going to determine what people download is copyrighted there are thousands of people thats the problem so i don't think it will last long they will be getting to many false positive i think and people Pissed Off

At very worse they can limit your bandwidth, and after 6 strikes there is no further legal action that can take. Basically you get warned, for the first 3-4 times, after that they limit your bandwidth after that nothing.

There are no fines, and they can't "Cut" your internet off.

The new laws here are just scare tactics with the worst consequence of a slower net.

 

o ok thanks xoso for the info..i called them and yelled at them and said if you send me any thing about downloading any thing i will cancel my subscription and get another internet subscriber will see what happens thanks for the info
