Sounds not bad, but this melody is not original, i heard it or in some of sample packs or Roger Shah radio show

Sounds good to me and also sounds original.
Before stating otherwise, I invite you to confirm your source to backup your bashing on other people's work and let others be judge of you assessment.

You wanted it and you got it :deep_facepalm:
Labels can hire me up to detect originality of authors' compositions.
BUT you are lucky i have remembered it lol
    SECOND TRACK

I'm not bashing on other peoples work, i am for originality and expressing YOUR OWN melodies if you can certainly. But if you can't, well, it is not fully your work.

Critics: leak of dynamics, very poor kick, too much reverb, needs clearness on some EQ zones, needs more high frequencies (saturation).
If the track starts with vocal blur, then every listener should be waiting for some vocals inside the main part of track, but the listener don't find it. Think on it.

    @Integral & virusg
Maybe I'm the stupid one here, but isn't that what sample packs are made for?

    Exactly my thoughts.
Taking samples from construction kits and build your own tracks with it still makes it original to me.
What makes it original is what you do with it by amalgamating different sounds, effects, beats, moods, your creativity and artistic touch to it.

    originality
    1. the ability to think independently and creatively.
So here the track is fully depended from other origins. You need to rethink the meaning of this great word.
Sample packs are great and especially midi for learning missiles only.

10-8-6 years ago i tried to create the track using construction kits and that was total shit - my soul heared that this is not my individuality spoke. Music is for expressing individuality. Not for be cool.

Now, i can use in my tracks only side-created vocals or nice live rhythm guitars (for deep house) and that i find ok. But not more. Maybe you need more music creating experience to rethink it

You know nothing about my musical experience nor my background. Your speech is very offending. But, I have absolutely nothing to prove to a narrow minded individual who thinks his own argument is the only valuable one.

I compose "melodies" since I am 6 years old and have never used any wav sampled construction kits because I have it naturally inside me. It doesn't mean someone who uses them are otherwise not creative nor not producing "original" material with their own vibes.

By the way, when I started making $$$ with my music, there were no such thing as "construction kits" and "loops". And I lived well... and I still do ! :)

    Have a nice day !

thank you guys for the feedback; critical and otherwise.

the melody is definitely not original, it came from the kit pack mentioned above. I find nothing wrong with using them. i use samples and presets that i (mostly) paid for. the song itself is original, but the melody isn't....creative credit should always go where it's due.

in any case.... more to come.

I guess the way I see it is that we all learn by copying the stuff we like, there's nothing wrong w/ that per se. Genius steals and all that. I guess I think the idea is to kinda "reconstruct" it for yourself in ur DAW piece by piece, so you know why it works like it does. That way you can improve on the original, make it into your sound? Seems like ur missing out on getting that knowledge / insight maybe @thegerman1220 ? I dunno, I'm wary of giving anyone a hard time who is contributing anything to this amazing thing music, that we all love. It's also kinda missing out the fun part (playing melody) rly!
