Is there a VST plugin like Superior Drummer 3's Punch Exciter?

    Hi folks!

    I mixed a song recently

but I'm not happy with the drums and I just saw a video about Superior Drummer 3's "Punch Exciter" effect and I love what it does. Does anybody know if there's a VST plugin that does the same thing in a similarly simple way?

    Cheers!

Overloud Dopamine is based on the same devices, but it might not sound the same.

Your drums are OK in the context of the song, maybe a little boost in the 250 hz range and Sonnox Oxford Inflator. Good luck.

Many thanks chaps! I just did a test on the toms and I like Dopamine and Type A a lot.

The type-A description had me face palming thinking 'do we really have to be that vague about referring to NR algorithms now', then I remembered that both Dolby and DBX are two of the most litagious companies around :(
