I created a drum beat and found a nice pattern. So, I copied and pasted it on the original track, but every note made sound all together. Are there any way for masking?
Here is the screenshot. From EZdrummer 2 to EZdrummer 3.

i can't even figure out what's happening there. what do you mean by 'masking'?
it looks as if all your notes are all the same length and playing at the same time.
you need to edit this in your midi/piano roll ( it looks like Presonus which i don't have but i am sure the principle is the same)..
so double click your midi clip and then edit your notes in there..
hope i am not confusing things : /

He must be talking about "replace". So, when you drag a midi clip onto another one, the new midi clip replaces the old midi clip's notes.

Not sure if I got your problem right.
You made a new pattern and wanted to replace to old one, therefore you pasted the new over the old and now you hear, for instance, 2 bd and/or 2 sn at the same time?
If yes, well that's normal, you have to delete the old notes, those which you don't need anymore, first.

I think you are right, "replace'. The screenshot shows I did what you talked, but it didn't replace it. Instead, it was MERGED.
