Strange problem here, Ive just bought a Korg Minilogue and a wonderful device it is.Problem is when I connect it up via midi to Studio one the midi isn't sent back out to the keyboard.
I set up correctly in preferences simple task, I open up instrument track set the midi in to Korg come to midi out there isn't a Korg option and no channel numbers to choose from.
Everything on the Korg is set correctly this I know because if I run the keyboard in Logic or Reaper it is perfectly fine.Only Studio has this problem Im baffled can anybody help

 

In External Devices, did you add it as a new keyboard or new instrument? it must be the latter.

 

you should add device in options, and choose input/output at top of instrument panel. studio one has flexible midi/device routing management settings which other daws doesn't have, its especially working best at midi vsti arp/auto chord and studio drum kit channel routing at mixing.

thanks for the reply When you mention options I guess you mean preferences and add external devices I have chosen korg midi in and out upon adding new instrument , I look in track inspector korg appears in midi out but not midi in ?
If I add as new keyboard in external devices inspector show korg midi in no korg midi out ?
this is so annoying Ive never had this problem before

 

add minilogue as keyboard, use midi cable connect to midi i/o on audio interface, then send audio out from the synth to your audio interface, you will got midi notes from minilogue and synth audio out. its should be also working just use usb connection.
or your keyboard(oxygen) connect to the synth via midi cable, then minilogue outputs the audio to interface.
or minilogue as keyboard, synth sound out, and use daw sending midi to the synth, but wheres the another midi cable and interface?
seems you had confused by studio one, it was pretty simple if you typing the mind down.
i dont know if your audio interface has midi in/out, checking song setup-audio i/o for more information.

 

When I had my Triton, I had to create two instances, one a keyboard, the other a new instrument, this was to treat the keyboard as a controller and the sound os of the triton as an instrument, I know you have to create two .
