AudioElec is a synthesizer dedicated to the emulation of electrical sounds. The synthesizer is based on AudioGaming’s dynamic modeling technology and uses sampling only for very specific modules. That is, it produces sounds by solving, on the fly, mathematical equations modeling the different components of electrified sound approximations developed by AudioGaming. This complex synthesis engine responds dynamically to the control signals it receives and exposes high-level controls carefully mapped to the low-level synthesis model.

I like a lot the sounds you can make with it.I don't know another plugin that can make that.
Of course if you like guitars or classical music/instruments it's not your kind of stuff.
And of course it won't be the plugin that you'll use on each of your tracks.
But to make sci-fi music or FXs it's awesome.

I agree with most of you,I'wouldn't spend 150$/€ for that. It's too expensive for sure !
And I haven't any iLok plugin.
But it sounds intereting to my ears.
Before that if you wanted electrical noises you should have a look to samples or record something.
