I duplicated a vocal track to make a different tone which was polished by Melodyne. When I changed the tone for the duplicated one, the tone of the original track is also changed to high tone. Here is the example to explain it easier.

Track A: Original
Track B: High tone (duplicated)

It seems like tracks are synced if I duplicate it. I have no idea if it is one of the Studio One functions or Melodyne. How do I separate the sync? Which means, how can I keep the Track A normal tone while I change the Track B?

 

Bounce (ctrl+b) the clip you want to edit and then melodyne again.

 

Bounce the clip and add melodyne again.

 

Importing the audio data into a new track. You have to recreate the effects chain (unless you can save effects chains in Studio One)

I gotcha. Sonar is a little different in that regard. If I locate the actual track audio data (by looking at the track properties), import that into another track, save the original track's effects chain, and load that chain into the new track, it treats the Melodyne instance as a new instance. So adjustments in the new track don't affect the instance in the old track.
If I simply clone the track, the behavior is what the OP is experiencing.
Of course if it is a MIDI track, bouncing may be the solution here.
Also, S1 may behave differently. So I'm just throwing out a suggestion. Best of luck to the OP with it.

 

My suggestion was the actual solution because I work with S1 and Melodyne, and that's how I worked around it when I had the same problem.
So yours might not be helpful to him but perhaps someone around here with the same problem working with sonar will find it helpful.
