Antares Auto-Tune Pro is out, but....!

    Hey!
    Just figured out that Antares finally released their long awaited Pro Version of Auto-Tune.
    But everyone should be aware, that it's only possible to run / activate, if you own an iLok of the new generation (2nd or above)... that's my problem now.
    They do not mention this before!!!

    I'm not sure what I like less, iLok or Autotune...the combination to me is as stubbing my toe while being poked in the eye by a rusty needle, just awe inspiring and a lovely good time.

    I will never use anything that requires iLok. If it has a serial only, I'm in.

    Most ilok programs these days done need a dongle, your can register them in A FEW SECONDS on your PC (I personally find it very easy).

    Why would you use ilock without the dongle as a developer? Do i miss something?

    Antares at least ...

    It says it clearly at the bottom of the page to the link you provided :deep_facepalm:

    System Requirements
    Auto-Tune Pro requires an iLok Version 2 or Version 3 (not included).Auto-Tune Pro is not compatible with iLok Version 1.

    Sly fi, Kush Audio, Exponential Audio, Flux, Ircam, McDSP too I think require dongle ilok....I don't mind the dongle. It's easier to go from one computer to another, no need to unauthorized. The only annoyance is that it's pretty fragile. Also easy to lose.

    They updated the page! I don't remember exactly at what time I opened that page yesterday, but it wasn't there. So, your "funny" rating and your facepalm are inappropriate, no offense.
