Convert Side Signal to Mid Signals

    Hello, i just made a synth sound, but the it sounds completely different in mono as in stereo.
    (there is an audible TONE in stereo, in mono there is just some noise)

    is there a way to hear the tone in mono?

    Check out the free plug in MSED from Voxengo, does all sorts of M/S to stereo and mono conversions.

    Of course there is also DrMS you can try.

    If you want to swap Mid/side, use Flux Stereotool to reverse the polarity of either side. Or maybe a wide synth is fine.

    Flip the phase of one side of the signal and see what happens.
