Quite a while ago I considered making trailer music for YouTube channels, looked for someone looking for trailer music and promptly a guy who wanted to start a racing channel (driving his own car) contacted me. While cleaning up my HDD I stumbled across one of the ideas I stitched together in about 10min back then:

So first of all: there isn't even a mix just a sum compressor to catch potential spikes.

There are no visuals either. I made this as a quick demo to show what I had in mind and then said that the parts should be arranged to match a narrative in a trailer. Intro - entering garage/opening garage door/starting engine/etc.; building segment: lining up on a grid or warming up tyres, still close-ups of the car; louder parts: drive-by, fast cuts, "dramatic"; quiet parts: pit stops or ideally being overtaken or something. I suggested scripting this so that I can build the music accordingly. It wasn't supposed to be an innovative trailer so I went for this quite usual approach. But it got stuck there so that's all there is. If anyone here wants to play around with it just go ahead. Let me know if you want any "stems" (the guitar is looped, the synths not even rendered...I never loop for final recordings. I always loop for demoing ;) )

 

i like the beginning very very much. as sound and arp really work good toghter! not in my taste the style (guitars and drums in particular) but the idea it work good! good job
