    Hey there,

I've installed it for Win 10 LTSB
    XLN.Audio.Addictive.Trigger.Complete.v1.1.1.

    I get: No GUIBoot Found!

As soon as Studio One starts to load a message comes: "No GUIBoot Found!" And opens an empty window...

I found that a few years ago this happened to someone with Addictive Drums,
but that was solved by installing it from ISO file which doesn't help me...

So I got nothing! Any ideas how I can get the GUIBoot working?

PS. All the others work fine...

It happened to me at first, the Instructions say, that you have to uninstall all XLN plugins, before installing this one in order for it to work

Thank you for replying... Don't get much of those...

Yes, unfortunately, I installed and uninstalled all of those so many times... And then just in case, there is leftover stuff I clean everything XLN including registry...

    thank you

That was a huge pain in the ass. I ended up downloading from XLN online installer and editing system preferences with cracked files after... The supplied crack nstructions left that part out...

Hey guys, here's a thought. With Addictive Drums the No GUIBoot shows up when the "library placer" isn't run after installation, to properly connect the AD2 library with the program's exe, i.e. to make the library visible to the program itself. Addictive Keys likewise, over here anyway. Can't speak to Addictive Trigger's peculiarities, haven't got it myself, but mightn't a similar step apply? Again, just wondering.

Well, AT doesn't have its own library... Also, I never had any problems with Addictive Instruments ever! It's always VST ones with activation and stuff... But thank you for wondering :) Appreciate it...

Wait a minute I just found Addictive Trigger Sound Data Library... So much for being informed...

    I'll try this now...

    UPDATE BABY :)

Yes! Great wondering after all... If it wasn't for you I was not even going to be aware of the iso file... Well at least for a while... :)

I suppose installer puts the GUI stuff into the Library Folder. Anyways Thank you for your input...

Guys! Just wanted to share with you my solution. Nothing had helped!

My VST folder is called "Nahrávání" (a czech word for recording). After hours of trying to find a solution I tried nearly everything... Admin rights, reinstallations, AD library placer before/after etc.

    Then finally.....

I decided to rename my folder to Recording, a word, that does not contain any czech character.

Didn't help.. kidding, it helped!! All my VST plugins are now working, before the change only some of them did work!

Hope it helps, cheers! (PS: Already wrote about this to XLN)

Sigh... and this is exactly why I tell everyone to just leave the default folder and save themselves the trouble. Half of your plugins will insist on installing themselves to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins anyway, and will either not allow you to change the directory, or will ignore it during an update, leaving you with a mess of multiple versions of the same plugin and an unsupported mess.

Lesson learned, I guess. I always tell people/clients not to use special characters for *anything* [song names, samples, pics, docs, folders...]. It is just safer because not every program uses/recognises utf-8 encoding. You could have a problem that you wouldn't be able to trace. I remember having a problem long time ago with a Word doc that had a special character in its name. Word wouldn't open it until I changed the character.

I am especially careful with naming samples as they have to be compatible with all kind of editors, daws and samplers.
