how do i set up a 2nd slave using my router? I use my mac as main daw and have direct ethernet with 1 slave but to hook up a 2nd using router i cant figure out how to connect

 

Should work as normal with your router. Go from your computer into the router instead of direct to the 1st slave cpu then route the outs from the router into the slave computers.

Forgot to mention I think you need to have a separate dongle for each slave.

 

dont i need to change my ip on my slave,and to what,the ip of my main cpu?

 

the ip is automatic, the only thing to know is the slave ip that you can find multiple tutorials online.
