Hey, does anybody know any good unique powerful appreciators that go further than the stock aprs in live, reason, etc.

I have tried Kirnu VST and like it, but is there anything better/different?

    Appreciate it guys :)

Kirnu is probably the best one, I cant imagine another that does more.. or better.

One Reason, there isn't anything better that i've found for MAC atleast...

This is prob the best arpegiator i've ever seen...but its PC, if anybody could find a Mac arp thats similar i'd die

Catanya would be great, but.. its useless for the simple fact that it doesn't remember what preset you loaded in the browser.after you close it and reopen.

My 2 cents input to add to BPB's list...

Sanford Sound Design - Sanford Arpeggiator
    http://www.kvraudio.com/product/sanford_arpeggiator_by_sanford_sound_design

    Wok:
    SimpArp - http://www.kvraudio.com/product/simparp_by_wok
    D-Arp - http://www.kvraudio.com/product/d_arp_by_wok

7Aliens - Catanya is good in that it has a lot of musicality & harmonic interaction, but it's tagged as a MIDI step sequencer!

Defective Record - Klee, is interesting like Catanya  for its harmonic interaction:

Thanks for the suggestions guys...i'll prob stick with what i got. Damn Catanya really doesn't recall presets? Nevermind then...never used it i just saw a few videos and it looked awesome. Thats why i like asking because its nice to find vsts that are actually practical...i get sick of installing hundreds of apps to only use one or two...

Diamation those products look cool but their mostly for PC, and i dont really like vst step sequencers...takes me just as much effort to punch in notes as it does ti step sequence

I agree with the above, kirnu is my favorite, and doubly so now that cubase 7 is out

    Steps to endless fun :
1- Load C7 and load a karma fx modular, create a midi track for it with kirnu on it
2- Make a chord track and point it at the midi track
3- Insert a chord progression, then use the chord assistant so it suggests cooler chord sequences.

Kirnu arps the chord track, you can get some crazy arps by making chord changes every 8th or 16th on the chord track, changing instrument voicing type, etc.

i have catanya kirnu and cthulhu...and havent even opened any of them since i got nora when it first came out. nora is both powerful and very user friendly.

the other three...are one or the other, but not both.

Nora would be amazing if only it showed up as a midi fx in Logic. Other than that, seems really great. Very powerful and definitely user friendly.

EDIT: Wow, I'm a complete idiot. It does ship with a MidiFx plugin. So yes, definitely amazing.
