I'm looking for a way to make my own Shell VST like the WaveShell-VST that Waves Audio use. I have many VST forlder inside my main VST Plugins folder & would like to have each company like Antares, MeldaProduction, Nomad Factory. It is easy for me to find the VST I need when I am working with Samplitude but It would save me a lot time when working in FL Studio. Is there any programs that can help me make my own Shell VST?

Sorry to interfere but the OP asked if there's a program that can create "shells" out of VST bundles. Shell2vst does the exact opposite of that; it "splits" existing shells into individual VSTs. From what I know only Waves use the shell trick.

    @Mr Thug Money
I googled a bit because actually the program you're looking for could be very useful but I couldn't find anything of the sort :(

Why not just make individual folders per developer??

Exactly i have mine in order of processors like dynamics modulations reverb etc etc.
But earlier i had them by developer.
It´s very few plugin developer that dont let you move the dll files
So put all nomads in one folder and do the same with melda and so on(i have every melda dll:s in different folders and they never failed to open it´s the same with nomad and antares and soundtoys and many many more)
I also have a temp folder in my vst dir so whenever an update is coming like melda or other bundle-plugins i install it there then overwrite all the old dll:s (even if i hit the uninstall before the upgrade the dll files never dissapear as i have moved them to another folder.)

I do have all my VST's in folders but that don't do any thing for FL Studio. like I said it works good for Samplitude but in FL Studio I would rather have a Shell VST file for eace batch of VST's. It would save me a s lot of time instead of searching threw so many VST's to find the one I'm looking for. Plus with Samplitude I can save a preset of VST's I can load for each track on the project witch also saves me even more more time. I use FL Studio to produce my instrumentals & I use Samplitude to record vocals.

I dont know how vst shows up in FL as i have never used that program.
But i noticed that many DAW have different vst structures
Cubase dont show vst 2 version if it has a vst 3 version i.e which is stupid as you cant organize them-
Sonar cant handle many plugins so you have to use the plugin manager which is kind of lame.
Reaper is cool as it always show new plugins and that includes updates you can also configure it to show your vst folder structure which is great but you still have the original Reaper structure.
I bet there is surely some way you can make a shell but i believe must learn some programming.
I havent heard of any program that make shells as far as i know.

    Why so many vst's?

In FL Studio there isn't much you can do. Best option is to just uncheck everything you don't use or don't use often enough. I have to shorten my lists so I don't sit there staring through a million things that I never use.

NTM I'm probably not the only person who has notice how touchy FL Studio's VST Wrappers are. Even if you did find a program I wouldn't put any faith FL Studio would read them correctly once that is done.

But yeah without doing the programming yourself your probably out of luck. Good idea though, however that would be one more thing that would scare the crap out of the companies that make them.
