yeah, and if you took advantage of their free/charity donation ware that they give away over the holidays over the last few years, you can get the whole bundle for VERY cheap. 2 years ago I got the whole v5 package for like $110. Best money I ever spent.

Just want to chime in and say Soundtoys has some of the coolest support of any dev I've bought from. I don't think I've ever written to them during any kind of reasonable business hours and not received a reply within 6 hours. Most of the time it's within 3 or 4 hours. If my facts are right, I'm pretty sure the guy who always writes back to me when I need support (his name is something Walker) is one of two dudes who are the main minds behind Soundtoys. Real down to earth.

I bought the bundle a couple years ago at an insane discount (prorated from when they were giving away the 'little' series for charity donations) and they just keep on adding free shit to it. IMO they deserve support as much as any developer.

And I mean... the plugs are awesome too. If that sort of thing is important to you :)

Hey Oly :) sorry for the double post but...
I don't want to single you out but since you were the first to say it... maybe you can help me understand why everyone hates (even non-dongle) ilok?

I'm not saying that this is you, or making assumptions about your reasoning, but some part of me thinks that the anti-ilok sentiment around here is residual resentment from the fact that ilok stuff went uncracked for so long. Much like how any time Cubase gets mentioned, people who rarely say anything come out of the woodwork to hate on it, when no other DAW gets that kind of focused negative attention. (To be fair their licensing is dogshit. Dongle only, one activation per license, but that's not what people hate on it for. They just hate Cubase itself.)

I would never have bought Soundtoys if it was dongle only (which it used to be, IIRC), but Ilok License Manager is currently my favorite protection scheme aside from maybe serial activation. It's saved me so much time any time I needed to reformat my disk, or when I built my new PC, or any time I needed to re-install things or move license activations around.

Non dongle Ilock install a driver in your machine, it has to connect to the internet.. I dont want something like this that may transmit info about what I'm doing. And it uses some cycles of cpu (few).
I simply disagree with this protection scheme which is made on user's cost..

same here.. maybe if does not uses iLok I will have buy it too. Ilok is the worst idea a company can have to sell software, and I don't think they think about it. they will sell more without the iLok.
