To all the Halion 6 users;

How do you open older projects where you used Triebwerk, Symphonic Orchestra etc?
Because my ''standalone'' plugins are not opening anymore after installing Halion 6.
Is this because the plugins i am talkin about are included in Halion 6 or is it just me with this problem?

[presuming you are using the V.R 'version'] The new 'anti-trial' crack is different; maybe you will need to reinstall those plugins and reapply the crack. Not using halion so cannot help directly.

 

You are correct. Anyway i tried reinstalling with no luck, but now the plugin is not even recognized anymore. (i restarted the DAW after uninstalling)

Which daw? Maybe to try the old keygen again - it shouldn't hurt the new halion - and about not recognized I hope you know the standard procedure in these cases (check vst directory - delete blacklist files...)

 

Ableton is my DAW and yes it's always a good thing to check the directory. The strange thing is that the plugins at first did pop up, but after restarting a few times it dissapeared somehow. And it's only effecting the plugins that are also available in Halion (Triebwerk, Hypnotic Dance, Symphonic...etc)

I tried of course a few more times reinstalling, also change location. But no succes anymore.

Untill now i remember this whole ''problem'' happend after i installed/added Halion Sonic to Ableton VST folder. This was due to the older Halion Sonic which could not be removed/update when i installed Halion 6. Later i removed Halion Sonic manually and reinstalled Halion 6 (only Halion Sonic was added)

Guess i could also try to remove Halion Sonic again.

BTW which keygen are you referring to?

know nothing of ableton. keygen/trial-extender from older cubase 8/9 and halion symphonic releases. See in e-licenser how you stand with licenses for plugins.

Btw how to delete blacklist files? is this also applicable on Ableton?

I guess it's just the same process as move the .dll outside the VST folder, restart DAW, close it and put the .dll back in the VST folder.

Edit:
Yeah it's just the same only faster then rescanning in my case. Ableton crashed during rescan (with alt) now it needs to scan all my plugins.

not sure if this method would work for ableton but it should for all daws
find the vst dll for x32 & x64 then delete them , reinstall , rescan !! if still dont show up you can then try creating a specific folder just for your halion 6 in the program files under your main drive then install the vst there!
