The intro reminds me of the "New Age" era in the early 90thies and then I ear some Gorgio Moroder influences.
Could be a little shorter though, if I may.

Well its the same lenght as the original so see nothing wrong in it. But whats the point with this posts? Just asking, do you want to hear something regarding mixing skills or something else? and i still think the original versions still keep up pretty good..

i can safely say that im one of the biggest cretu fan here and and i like
breaking down all his tracks on my daw learning from his early work and latest ones with enigma
so from what i know about cretu production it has that BIG DRUMS BIG PADS HUGH SOUNDS AND FX

sure i know samurai song by heart ..and while listening to robert work here
im not sure if it meant to be played on keyboards and recorded directly to wav or processed through daw
regardless...this cover starts really great with smaller sound sax and great pads going on that really works and well executed
now i do remember the original has bigger intro starts with a bang..in this cover it shied away
maybe you Robert missed that ? common bro you are covering cretu sound so everything should sound big

i was really hoping it starts with wider snares crazy sound chords just like the original but it that didnt happened in the cover
the guitar sound in the verse parts were nice and different and thats what i like about the cover it has different take in the verse part

overall its good cover..thank you robert

Anyhow i could not agree more with you. Just rather suprized people dont know the songs that been posted here lately. And even worse if someone tries to take some credit of his work. Not saying R.S did but its very vage. Anyhow, no wonder Mr.Cretu made a few millions not only with his own work but probarly got god help with the other projects with Sandra, Engima, Moti Special and so on. Awesome songwriter and good in making "new" sounds that makes his projects sound diffrent. Mixing new stuff in there..

Only Enigma songs I heard ... Sadness, Mea Culpa & Return to Innocence... Wasn't really a fan to go digging up everything they released... Was too focused on GNR and Metallica in those days...
