    Hi guys,
i need help from sound experts.
I am trying to replicate a sound electronically (from an electronic circuit) but i can't figure out what kind of sound this is.

    This is the file (WAV):

I can't figure out if it's two frequencies playing together (kinda like DTMF) or one tone but idk what kind. It doesn't sound like sine wave or square wave.

By ear it sounds like 860hz, but when i used an app from my phone it detects 2583hz, but that doesn't match any of the waves available for tone generators (sine, square, triangle and sawtooth).

So i need help. Could anybody please tell me what i'm dealing with? I have 6 more to decode and i'm in need of help.

    Thanks

I can't even imagine why you would have to decode this, but it sounds like the transient of a high pitched sine layered with white noise.

    Here's what it is:[IMG]
The sample's really short, what you see is above is more than half of it. Zoom in:[IMG]
~1/10th of the full sample, or ~5ms.
What looks sorta like a full cycle (looping):

    Hope this helps a little.

Thank you a lot for your answers.

I'm trying to reproduce a sound from the tv on a gadget, just for the sake of it.

The original sound is indeed very short, and it's 7 of those beeps in a rapid sequence.
Here's the original sound in its integrity:

I tried to put those frequencies in my project circuit but for some reasons the outcome is different (tone is lower in pitch and i guess also different because of the fact that i can only use square waves at the moment).

I'm now wondering if it's really worth it.

I have a question. How long does every cycle last?

I tried again and i kinda succeded.
What i was doing wrong was using square waves while this appears to be sine waves.
If i merge the 4 frequencies together the sound is VERY similar, i'd say quite identical.

Now without abusing of your kindness how can i bribe you to get the frequencies of the other 6 beeps?
    I'd really love that.

    Thank you
