What do you mean by "who wins", human?! It doesn't compute. []

Nice, relaxing track, mate. Thanks for sharing. It sounds pretty raw, not really "mixed", but interestingly enjoyable anyway. ;) It kinda sounds like it's supposed to sound? The only thing, that bass should be tamed more, somehow. Just a couple dBs narrow EQ cut around say 250Hz? Well, that's my take on it.

    Cheers!

I enjoyed this song. I've followed you on soundcloud for quite a while. I still can't understand your jazz statement from a few days ago though. Jazz players are the apex predators of musicians. You should listen to them. They know what they're talking about. This is a good track, though rather static.

Nice, I like it! Reminds me of Perturbator, except not so aggressive.

As for the question, technology wins, humans are such easy prey. :bleh:

    This is very well done...

My only suggestion... play with the dynamics of the performance at the start when you are going for a lullabyish mood... a variation in volume will do wonders to the expressiveness of that part... and I don't mean compression... I mean velocity...

The 2nd part is just fine! Maybe just add a few HF to brighten it up (just a personal bias).

    Good work!

    Praise the Lord!:bleh:
Recognizing your devoted love toward my work. So grateful!:mates:

Artists usually don't find the mixing process interesting and I'm not an exception but really appreciate and value the suggestion.:bleh: Just kidded. You're absolutely right. It's just been done perfunctorily and a cursory glance will tell all of my awful mixes. Currently I'm reinforcing my techniques and be sure in the future more robust ones would be heard.
I'm jumping for joy you finally liked sth from me. Structuring has been my only concern during production and fighting for it yet.
An exhorting one for being dead set on having purposeful production. Thank you so much!
As you know my friend most of my questions correspond closely to music and sometimes are needed for me hanging tough on in the right path. They seem silly for some people at first sight but the answers are mostly so revelatory and illuminating.:mates:

I just love good Jazzes configured plannedly not inconsiderately improvised just for the sake of improvisation. @safran5020 's work on the Jazz thread is an example of a real masterpiece and it's not been improvised on the fly for sure.

No matter how much Jazzers are knowledgeable. Improvised music sucks.

I have never previously heard any other of your compositions OP, but I will mildly critique it nonetheless. The track is very reminiscent to me of incidental film music from the 80s. Not saying that the music is in an 80s style though. I disliked the choice of the instruments used in the introduction, they sounded awfully cheesy to me, which unfortunately stole my attention from where it should have been at that point, the composition. Personally I don't think that the track needed any drums at all because the song went on to create a very nice atmosphere of tension, and I think that the drums slightly lessened that tension. In summary, and I don't know whether you did it intentionally or not, but the track gives the impression of a call and response that keeps calling but never responds. That is a compliment not a criticism by the way. I would love to hear this composition arranged for and played by a string quartet.
