how to get this "rumbling" techno kick / sub combination?

    Hey guys :)
    loving this forum, learned a lot in here.
    maybe someone could give me some hints to create those punchy kicks and rumbling subs like in these tracks:



    is there like a vst for those punchy drums and nasty subs? doesnt sound like a sample.

    It sounds like what they've done for the rumbling sub is just take the same kick, cut off the transient, and add a 16th note pattern of the remainder of the kick. You can do this with one single sample, or use something like Kick 2 by Sonic Academy, or Big Kick, or even Bazzism. Probably easier with just a good sample though.

    Didn't really get a good listen as I'm listening on my laptop with crappy laptop speakers but check out this video might get you close
