Correct - an unknown who will remain unknown to most people but a handful here that do know.
However anyone that has known any long-term musician and has been in the actual industry professionally for 40 years would know what I said could not be learned any other way.

Of course, secretly famous person. The only way to learn about fame is from random strangers in the interweb. This was never in doubt.

I'm currently amassing my considerable fortune by following the prudent advice of my financial guru, Sir Vino Panhandler III. He lives behind the dumpster by 7-11 -- a fiendishly clever ruse: he's actually one of the world's wealthiest men (or so he tells) :)

I do not want to be famous, I want to live and let live. Mostly nakedness and sex are selling the best, to me it's prostitutes without honor.

I'm not promoting the corporate music business as a desirable career goal, but making it turns out to be a lot easier than I thought. I know two people that have achieved "success", one a Grammy Award for songwriting, and the other a record deal with Universal Music. The steps required for doing this was nothing more than finding a music publisher, or entering a radio talent competition. Basically you just have to connect with the right people, there is no voodoo involved, no need for bribery or selling yourself out :)

I have released 9 albums for 6 years in 2 different projects, in both I make music that I think is different and totally of my own style, however despite all the effort and creativity that I put into my music, the number of views and visits I get is very low, I still can not find a way for people to listen to my work at least once without spamming, but even with all that I'm still making music because I think I have something new to offer, something different from the others, and always I have new ideas, although I still seeing artists who within the first year already have a great response offering also unique music.

People think what they want :)
There is a possibility that I could simply enjoy my privacy and genuinely have the best of wishes to help others. I could be what you say too but either way, any possibility still involves experience, which is priceless and no mention of finances had you actually read anything properly.
The internet is overly full of sarcastic cynical people and cyber bullies that rarely have the facility to see outside their own lives and see anyone's reasons other than negative sarcasm instead of a pure motive. So they crap on others that are not pissed off with the world.
It is also full of people that think the world owes them a living and they moan about their lives when they are the only ones responsible for that.
A person's life is what they make of it. Not everyone has a hidden agenda, I do not other than helping other's because I have spent 40 years doing music as a living and I am still doing it.

    Go hard!
    That is great.
Isn't it all about the music? Fame comes in many forms. It is a bit more lateral. It can be in the form of achieving what you set out do and gaining respect from your peers.
I would rather have 10 people that loved what I did than 10,000 who buy it because everyone else is or has and let it collect dust.
The kind of fame Rhianna has where she can tell her followers to stop using snapchat and 60 million people do it like robots, I can live without.

Though it does tell you how many people are sheep on the planet and do not think for themselves.

Nobody is above the music. Nobody, so you are focusing on the right thing.

I do not know about that. I do know that it was a new form of creative expression. As for whether it killed everything else I'd hate to debate that.
I do know it became popular. Techno started before it and DJ's became more popular and then you have offshoots of a pile of different styles.
It's not my favourite music but I respect the desire to create a new style and stay with it.
A style of music only dies if people let it die :)
    Cheers

Either people who don't know the band, or those who do and prefer the earlier stuff, while others criticised the performance. Personally I think AF are great, one of the best bands of the past decade, and their music will stand the test of time. Some really good stuff on their first 3 albums, while the later material is a bit of an acquired taste (due to a change of direction), but there are still some gems to be found.

This dream can come true only in USA, but not in a post-communist country, where talent and creativity mean nothing, only friendships count :deep_facepalm:

  18. Talent and creativity always count. In places where there is little daily joy people might discount special gifts out of jealousy or any of a thousand reasons in a weird way to feel better about their own predicaments. Art is life and gives sustenance even to those that scorn it's gifts.

    These are the wrong questions.
The real question should be how do i get tougher skin and mental strength to keep on going on?
95% of people give up on their goals and dreams in their early 20s.
Life is not a linear ladder where you keep on climbing until you reach the top, you have to learn how to deal with rejection, the falls, the temptation of things that could destroy your health, the negativity.
    Success trough suffering.
You have to go deep down into the darkest corners of your soul and only then you will be able to create art that is unique.
Comfort has never produced quality material.

... the real question is: do I really want to become 'well known' or famous ?
Or do I want to make music, explore my own musicality and perhaps make a decent living doing so?
Do you want to be successful in what you do, writing, playing & performing music ?
Or do I want to be idolised for what ever trick and ponyshow I entertain?
Anything past that is greedy, money orientated narcissist bs. and has nothing to do with Music. If you want to pursue that, thats absolutely okay!
If your music, your craft sets you apart from everyone else and spreads like a fire, than thats your success. If your music changes
hearts, inspires, perhaps even compels and provides you with a decent living in the process, thats providence. If it is remembered and sustained long after the rush and long after you've gone than that's the true evidence of your integrity, talent and mastery. Perhaps even true 'fame' ...
