Celebrated British composer Simon Boswell has amassed an array of impressive credits in cult films of every class. Perhaps the man’s most celebrated achievement is his dynamic music for director Richard Stanley’s legendary 1990 sci-fi/horror (the first 20-30 minutes are 100% post-apocalypse, but then on the cyberpunk) chamber piece HARDWARE.

• Drifter who found a robot head, plays Carl McCoy soloist rock band the Nephilim, for which Richard Stanley previously took two clips and designed the cover of the album ..
  
• River taxi driver playing Lemmy from the group Motorhead.
  
• DJ named Bob Savage, who shakes the whole movie on the radio - Iggy Pop.
  
• On the TV show clip of Gwar, but plays a Ministry "Stigmata" song.
  
• Instead Iggy Pop articulate DJ was John Lydon of PIL (aka - Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols).
  
• For a cameo river taxi driver, Lemmy was given a bottle of scotch and a genuine Magnum revolver. After drinking a bottle of Lemmy he took out a pistol from his holster, but he slipped out of his hand and fell into the river. Specifically caused by divers gun was never found.
  
• Film budget of 1.5 million. Dollars. In the first weekend it has collected in the United States more than 2.5 million in just:. More than 5.7 million per box.. Inspired by the commercial success, Richard Stanley was preparing to shoot a sequel - Western cyberpunk on a large scale under the name "Iron 2: Epicenter", but because of problems with copyright and is not removed.
  
• In the film, there are references to the film "Soylent Green" (1973) (a novel by Harry Harrison "Move over! Move over!") And "Stalker" (1979).
  The film was made on the basis of the story titled "Shock", which appeared in 2000AD magazine.

Great movie- Love Richard!! My buds company released the blu ray in US a few years back and I did the music for the trailer
