Hello, I recently posted my remix on youtube and got a notice on youtube that said, Video blocked in some countries. Your video may include the following copyrighted content:
    Acknowledged claims

"Taylor Swift-I Knew You Were Trouble", sound recording administered by:
    UMG

I acknowledges the claims and it still plays on youtube, but are you not allowed to post remixes on youtube?? I see it all the time...http://soundcloud.com/funxionofficial/taylor-swift-i-knew-you-were

You're definitely not allowed, you don't have the rights to use the vocals of that song and they can be easily identified to the original song.

The reason you got a copyright notice for your remix is because UMG are assholes about their music and will block any video that uses their song (Via YouTube Content ID), while other labels just put ads on the videos.

Or maybe you just got unlucky.

Either way, they have the right to do what they have done.

Try renaming it so it doesn't match the official title. I think it was an automated warning.

Like: I should have known you where trouble
Sorry couldn't let that one go

    Sounds big though.
Maybe even try to get it recognized? if it doesn't work do try to renew the song with another base lyric, I like it.

    Cheers

It doesn't go by title, it actually listens to the fingerprint somehow. I posted something there and it didn't say anything about the title of the song and it was a video of a baby with the music very low, and it still got flagged not to play only on mobile devices totally automagically.

Just modifiy the vocals a bit, e.g. make them a tad slower or faster etc., and YT won't discover the fingerprint.

Or maybe they just thought that the remix that you did was just such a horrible fucking mess that they couldn't see any valid reason why it should insult their artist or music lovers. Seriously, if you had done something worthy they might have contacted you to commission the remix. But no, they did the opposite....

Is There anywhere you can upload remixes without going against the sights copyright policy?

That's the a sight that has no copyright agreement, i.e one that has no mention of copyright when you sign-up or upload.
Even Soundclouds policy says you shouldn't upload remixes (dosen't stop anyone)
