    Hi,
I love playing my hi-res classical music tracks while watching and examining their waveforms, spectrum analyzer, spectrograms, etc. I love it visualized

I have the Izotope Insight plugin which I utilize within JRiver and Foobar2000 but it is too much of a hassle to initiate the plugin and for a very limited sized window (You can't maximize the size of the plugin)

I use Windows 10 and I wonder if someone could recommend me a player or any kind of software or any combination that would visualize the music I listen to in the way I want to. Goldwave with its "Control" is a very good experience for me but then again it doesn't have any playlist or that kind of player functionality. I've tried Audition CC, Audacity, MediaMonkey, Ozone 8, JRiver, Foobar2000, Goldwave, Musicscope, SpectraLayers Pro, RX Editor, and many other different functional software with so many metering plugins such as TrackS, Nugen, Waves, etc

    Thanks

    Thanks "popeye".

I guess the best combination for me at the moment is JRiver with Dualism plug-in.

The best software to monitor audio files, to me, at the moment is DMG Audio TrackMeter. 11 different ways to display the audio file and a full screen button!

This combination is great but I couldn't find a way to get rid of the little lag.

I'll try resonic, DMG trackmeter and spectre (I'm on windows) today

I've tried NUGEN with both JRiver and Foobar2000. The only way to remove lag is decrease the buffer size used by the players. I use ASIO drives so both JRiver and FB2K lets you play with both the ASIO driver's buffer size and the software itself's buffer size. I've tried down to 50ms on FB2K (there is a slider -Preferences-Output) and 5ms on JRiver (there is a checkmark under that selection, named "Use Large Hardware Buffers", you should uncheck it too- Tools-Options-Audio-Audio Device-Device Settings-Buffering) but the music began to stutter in both. So I've tried to set the minimum buffer size without stutter by trial and error. I'm not 100% percent happy but the lag is less now.

Tried Resonic. It's a nice and easy to use but you can easily achieve what it does with Foobar2000.
Tried DMG's Trackmeter, too. It's a much user-friendly version of Dualism so I liked it, too.

Found it. It's Flux's Pure Analyzer. It has a "grabber"/agent that runs as VST and you can peacefully monitor via its seperate application. Its "Nebula - Spatial Spectrogram" is a delight to watch, too.
So JRiver or plain FB2K plus Flux Pure Analyzer is what I will utilize.
    My thanks to every responder.
