Hello everybody, I'm new here and newbie maybe!
I had searched everywhere for the problem but impossible though my libary is added and showed in tab but cannot load nki file and display that message. I didn't follow the default SNPID or somethinge else, maybe this is my mistake, but sometimes ".nicnt" file itself containing "text(s)" that is not the same with "ProductHints.xml". Hence, the conflict happens

Here is my solution. For example, if a library contains "AAA.nicnt" file,
Once Kontakt displays that message, close Kontakt and do these:
1/ Delete "AAA.xml" in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center"
2/ Delete "AAA" key in registry "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\native instruments\" AND "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\native instruments\"
3/ Create a new or modify the ".nicnt" file so that ".nicnt" and "ProductHints.xml" have same these:
+ "<UPID>" number (You can bypass this step if the nicnt file does not contain this "<UPID>"
+ <Name> and <RegKey>
+ <HU>
+ <JDX>

I don't think it has to do with the ninct file, because when that happens to me what I simply do is add the library in Kontakt and that's all. And once you do it, not only you can use it but also can use it externally, means, without having the library added in Kontakt.

 

in my case, my libary showed in tab but it still displayed "Your new library needs to be..." when I load .nki file!
Then I found that the libary whose nicnt file doesn't have the same HU or/and JDX with ProductHints.xml. Everythings go fine when i fix that

Albion Iceni is giving me that trouble and no matter what I do it just keeps pumping out that hideous message...I just gave up on it.
