I just found my old Zoom Rhythmtrak 234 Drum Machine. This old thing is so full of dust after sitting in my storage for like 8 years I'm surprised it still works. Any way I thought maybe i could get some kind of use out of it but it only has midi in capability. I'm looking for something I can use to control FL Studio & Reason. So I'm thinking I need something that has midi in & midi out. I have not been to my studio yet to try setting up the Zoom Rhythmtrak 234 Drum Machine but I don't think it will work right anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong. Can anybody give me some info & what i buy for under $500. I might even spend $600 or $700. But don't want to spend to much because I'm also planing to buy the Roland Gaia SH-01 (37-Key Virtual Analog Synth) & I'm only going to have any where between $1,500 to $2,000 & I'm sure that i will find something else i want to but at Guitar Center. I always end up more then I go in for. What do you think would be a good choice to make. And don't tell me the MPC5000.
