Because it's still not as easy as in ableton live, where it is like "recording the other track". :p
In FL, it's almost a bit painful not to be able to do it the easy way.

Workaround: Install Loopbe, which is a MIDI Loopback Driver and the only way I managed to record the MIDI progressions CTHULHU creates onto FL's Piano Roll.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, look at the piano roll in my example below. To record those chords only two different notes were played in Cthulhu (each for one bar) and 11 different chords came out.:disco:

Check the JPEG for more Info and follow these simple steps:

<You can download loopbe here for free>

    Have a nice sunday!

Thank you, you can also install midi loop, the advantage with it is:
    - Installation once only, then it will be integrated with FL at each start
    - Capture ALL VSTs, including native FLs that do not have a MIDI IN-OUT option.
Here is a video that explains how to install it.

Duper useful, I recently learned about LoopBe myself.

Now if only someone could figure out how to route Cthulhu to native fl plugins...through fl midi out maybe?

Anyway these methods can work with the Komplete Kontrol's chord and arp function?

Yes I can, but it was quite a while ago when I searched for a solution.

Melodo seems to do what I was looking for.
But I should search kvr for a contender with drag and drop.

I can tell you a top secret that no one knows but you must do me a favor. Would you be my girl friend for 1 week and embark on some perilous adventures with each other? :bleh:

Indeed it is a mess. But once you get the gist of it you can do very cool things.

I'm talking in general, of course if you can do it in your DAW without "external" tools always better. This topic seems to be the case.
