OK, so well i'm looking for good books that teach me Musical theory and mixing.

For mixing i'm pretty sure i'll get this one: http://www.amazon.com/Mixing-Secrets-Small-Studio-Senior/dp/0240815807/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1352847663&sr=8-1&keywords=mixing+with+your+mind

Full of great reviews of it and stuff.

But for musical theory i'm kinda looking for a book that will help me remember the basics (different type of chords, scales, knowing the root chord, etc). And go into advanced stuff (Atonality, Serialism etc.)

In short what i'm looking for is a book that will do a quick re-cap of the basics and go into the advanced stuff.

    Thanks in advance!

Thank you both for those links.

I looked at the PDF, and i'm definitely going to buy the book.

And manducator, thanks for those links, i saw some good exercises over there.

But i prefer to actually having a book and not having to learn the stuff in front of a screen (i already spend to much time on front of it, and theres no way i can concentrate)

So does anyone know any good, very completed music theory books?
