Anybody got this combination working? Tried three different releases and every time Ableton acts like the plugins don't exist. And i heard I'm not the only who has this problem. What's the solution?

Change Ableton shortcut properties to run as Administrator.
Force recheck VST folder.

Maybe you know it but...Are you sure you have installed vst2 version of the plugin and not only vst3 ?
Vst3 don't work in Live.

 

Are you sure you rescanned your plugin folder?

 

Forced rescan, forced to run as admin, disabled AV, didn't work. Using VST2 64. Neutron 2 works fine.

Ozon works fine but not Neutron

 

Works fine for me. Both ozone and neutron.

 

This morning I want to use for the first time Ozone8 & Neutron2 in live and both don't work. They don't appear in my vsts in Live.
WTF ?

 

i changed the install path manually to my VSt Path.
standard it was on C:\Program***\Steinberg*****
Maybe it installed in the wrong VST path on your PC

 

you do have a point. i didn't change the path when i used the MKLINK installer (the traditional one didn't work too fyi) just copied over vsts to my path after install (C:/Me/vst) because truthfully, i have no idea where to edit it. (but... Neutron 2 worked when i did that) so, how do do it?

That's strange....
I've uninstalled Ozone.
Then re-install ozone but only vst2 version.
I've deleted 32 bits plugins.
And it works !

And it works for Neutron 2 too.

 

nothing worked until i installed a new release from rutracker (rutracker/5521406). problem solved now
