Great rendition. You have a very nice pop timbre. Lovely vocals. The mix is very cool too, simple and effective. You 've got the chops mate. All you need -imho- is your own material. I 'd love to hear something yours.
    All the best

Great vocals but everything is so poppy proper for the valley ladies. I expected sth destructive from your avatar. If I was your loving wife, I would encourage you to get one of these :boombox:instead of a guitar.:rofl:

    @foster911
I am really sorry, i don't mean offense, but wtf are you talking about lol ... destructive lol. If you can't value and estimate what you hear for what it is, instead of what your mind implies it should have been, you shouldn't comment. If you can't value what comes from the heart yet again you shouldn't comment. I would spare you the lack of heart. But because your song attempts sound as a grooveless 9 yo trying to make square electro pop with a mini casio but more cheesy and in a non sensical and simplistic way most of the times, again you shouldn't comment. And remember simple is a virtue but simplistic is a flaw and has its roots in lack of education & imagination in the particular field. And believe me it shows.
So please stop trying to "patronize" people who actually have a style and obviously are real musicians while you are still searching for a style and have a mere understanding of how the heck it all makes sense.

If I had intended to make POP tune, I would have named myself Poster not Foster (F from foreigner) from the outset.

My principal enemy is poppy POP or anything sounds the same and one day will entirely obliterate them.

WTF, @foster911. You know I appreciate a lot what you positively contribute, and remain silent on the things you screw up, but you're getting even ahead of yourself on this. This song shows great talent on arranging, mixing, and artistic chops. If you can't see that, my friend, then the countless lines of discussion you usually start on this site are serving you nothing.

I don't like flaming, but please, my friend. Take a lesson on effectiveness here.

Errr. Poppy pop? the one that pops popping poppies and popes in poppy pop popper way? I mean you almost got me there that you believe what you write, but instead you are writing for the sake of a pointless debate. I 've heard some of the same pretentious trolling before alright. To set the record straight from your misinformative paranoia, contemporary music is by rule of thumb based on repetition, and one way or the other it all sounds the same up to an extent. The only sht that -sort of- doesn't sound the same is the one thing you resent (that should mean you can't comprehend), jazz...
    Hail mega pop obliterator:rofl:

Ya know Foster, whenever anyone attacks you I'm the first to jump to your defence, but in this case buddy, I'm sorry I think you're wrong, and if it was anyone else posting what you did up there? they would be getting the 'nasty' button!

Hey there! Thanks everyone! Great feedback. After a good listen, I think I have a few stereo imaging issues to correct (not much, just a bit) and maybe a drop in the vocal volume a hair. All in favour say EYE ;-) Thanks again! :)
Hey just for a laugh ... how old do you figure I am from hearing my singing voice? Just curious?

18-25 years old ? If you managed to fool me, bravo :)
The track shows some experience in mixing, still exhibits a classic "mistake" young peeps do: Putting the vocal too high in the mix because it sounds good ... Tracks that sound too good sometimes become enticing, like they are asking to raise their volume eheheh. I did enjoy the track very much, but the correct way would be for the vocal to sit in the mix rather than sticking out. It is better to let the listener take notice and appreciate what you did than to augment the obvious (vocal track) to make an impression. All this of course is a slight detail that doesn't take away the energy from your wonderfully done cover mate.
    Cheers

A few little niggles as pointed out in some of the posts above (not including Foster's of course), but yeah, I'm impressed, you have a nice voice Cardamom :)

Sounded very good to my ears Cardamom. In my opinion your vocals sounded better when singing the higher notes. The lower notes in the verses sounded good, but they were too prominent in such a sparse mix.

Some good tips! Will correct and repost maybe.

And now the reveal: I'm 52 kiddies!

I am very grateful that God has blessed me with a youngish voice (or so I've been told a few times) ... will use it as long as it's meant to last.

    Thanks again gang!
