Just want to share my script with you. You start Terminal.app, drag&drop the tool into the terminal, then you drag&drop a single or multiple folders with (IR) wave files - it will generate the SpaceDesigner Presets right on your desktop. Then place the presets in ..Plug-In Settings/Space Designer.. for use in Logic. More info inside ...

2025-07-21: In order to use the newly added tempates § dry-mute § you need to place the tool right into the respective directoy ... the tool itself is untouched and will work with any logic version to come - all spacedesigner presets prior Logic Pro X will remain compatible.

Just forget about this line - when you use drag&drop with terminal there is no typing required except pressing ENTER

Call me an idiot...but I just cannot seem to get these presets to show in SD, though I thank you for your effort.

thanks Hi now I get it.. but i have a problem I put the template.pst next to sdpatchmaker.tool but the template i made has a ".wav ir" so when i use the tool it uses that "path" for all generated .pst.. so i don't know how to make a "empty" "template" with no "ir" loaded.. in logic can't find a way do you know how? thank you very much

Here's the template plugin setting contained in the code (which you can load and modify according to your needs), and a version I modified for use on FX busses, with the dry muted, and the wet level at -6dB.

Edit: In trying this with LPX though, I don't think it's working when you modify with LPX's plugin settings, which when saved might be a little different to the original LP9 format - the tool doesn't correctly replace the IR in the setting - so I've removed my modified version, and just uploaded the original for now.

thanks but it's not working logic pro lastest version here when i use this "template" keeps asking for "drone tone 19"--
so that is what i haven't found a way to do..make a .pst template without any "IR" on it.. to use 100% wet and 0% dry..

Yes, you are repeating exactly what I found out and just told you above, and why I removed the edited template I did in LPX because on testing it, it doesn't work. Saving this in LPX means the tool doesn't correctly replace the IR file in the preset. You'd need to resave the template SD setting with with LP9, rather than LPX to work, unless the person making the tool wants to update it for LPX.

I didn't make the tool, and it was made for LP9 (pre-LPX), so updating the template with LPX doesn't work. It was made for LP9.
