As a mac user, after i did the thanks thing via FB, i have to point my mouse just beneath "Ambika Avenger Expansion".
That way, the downloadlink becomes highlighted so you can click on it to download.
Using Safari as Browser.
I experience a quite small downloadspeed, ( 800 kb/s), although my internetline is blazing fast.
Ooh well, i have patience.

The download speed is slow at the moment because we are in the process of upgrading servers..
Solpiko because of people like you defeating systems put in place for a reason. There will be no expansions given away for free in the future. We are a small company trying to continue making tools for people and your comment makes it harder for us.

 

Well i did not go to FB and could see the link. It is not hidden AT ALL... i don't get it. Ami the only one who can see it without doing anything more than scrolling down the page?

 

The goal is to give you an expansion for logging into facebook,twitter or google and giving me a like which take 2 seconds of you time. The bigger picture is googles analytic ranks website based off of this and many other factors. (How many people go to a the site,how long they stay there for,likes,follows,subscribes etc.) My company spends countless hours giving to the community and trying to survive at the same time.I hope you all understand that.I think the trade off is well worth it and you would be encouraging the others and I to continue releasing and updating the expansions.

You're aware people without facebook or twitter or gmail won't be able to spread the word, and we're legion ?

 

Im working on other options like youtube locker and instagram, etc.. I only put the Social Locker like I said to make it easier for people to find the company and Website Ranking. I will eventually have to sell that expansion to pay for more rack space if people start overloading my servers. I cannot afford to upgrade them at the moment or I would.

 

Nah man, that comment from Solpiko is honest feedback. Likely not gonna get far if you blame people for what comes natural.

Spacetime My response is very straight forward and if you read all my comments you would understand that the feedback (subscribes, like, follows) help my sites Analytics which in return help with search results and website ranking. I don't blame just Solpiko alone for doing that. I blame people like him for teaching everyone else how to which directly effects my company. Look, Im giving you guys an Expansion for one like. I dont understand why anyone has a problem with that. I have bills just like everyone else If I cant pay them how can I continue giving free expansions away?

You are not here for us, so dont pretend, you are here to promote your company in hopes that somone would actually give you money for what you do.

How am I acting like I make loads of money... I dont.. Hence my comments..and why I asked for everyone's support. @EastBoundSounds people like you who write comments like the one above are the ones who made someone like me come out of thecave to respond to you.
Threatening this community as you did would only be detrimental to your business and have the contrary effect of what you are trying to accomplish. Instead of criticizing @Solpico you should be thanking his initiative. Your comments make no sense at all. Let me explain.
According to you the sole purpose of your giving away free products is to promote your company, accordingly, if you stop your "freebies" (because of what @Solpico did) your promotion plans will suffer.
As bad as you may think, as a soft developer, that his community is, we are necessary for the survival of small companies. You are receiving free advertisement for your products. You are putting your name "out there" and it is costing you nothing. You need to be grateful for its existence.
I think that an apology to @Solpico is due and is good PR. I also suggest that in the future you post your "freebies" here or on the sister site. Believe me, if your products are well received by the community our members will purchase them. Every year I spend thousand of dollars on products that I was able to try before making the decision to purchase them. Some of those companies, like yours, were unknown to me and many other members and we heard and learn about them here. Embrace us and your company will be rewarded.

There are many of us who do things for others on this site who just do things out of the goodness of our hearts, such as create backing tracks for aspiring singers as a mere example. Yes we may ask people to take a listen to see what could be improved, but never for an ulterior motive.

I have no facebook account. Never had one, never want one, and if it means I don't have the presets then so be it, but I will not be held to ransom by you or anyone else.
