^No need to report the full Console crash report that includes also your global machine settings…
Just copy and paste here the very first crash related text lines ;-)

Issue could be simply a matter of "codesign" thing ? (easy to fix with the usual sudo Terminal command)

When forcing in the manager I only receive the short report from AUvaltool which I posted earlier so I 'opened' the plug-in through Blue Cat Patchworx which results in a Logic crash and report.

 

This crash is related to Logic and not to Spire or auvaltool (__TEXT 000000010e58d000-000000010ff4b000 [ 25.7M] r-x/rwx SM=COW /Applications/Logic Pro X.app/Contents/MacOS/Logic Pro X), we/I need the crash after the validation fails.
Copy the crash report from the start until the "Logical CPU" line, this because there are the steps before the crash.

Not this one but the log that appears after you go in the Plug-ins Manager, select Spire and you press on "Reset and Rescan Selection".

 

You have to remove everything to get the original Spire to work, including the activation key at Library/Application\ Support/RevealSound/

 

I already posted it on the previous page and mentioned it twice afterwards. That's the only message I receive. There's no 'big' crash report (and Logic doesn't crash when validation fails).

Hi guys, I finally fixed the issue!!! I downloaded the 1.0.20 version of Spire from the developer site, validated with plugin manager and then replaced the au component with mine version.

@D-Music try in this way and/or to disable patchwork from the plugins manager.

 

Use included 'OSX Validate All AUs' App. This works for me everytime.

If you want to forcedly authorize Audio Units in Logic to get rid of [Incompatible] menu and startup warning message, follow these steps:

1) Use included 'OSX Validate All AUs' App.
2) Exit Logic. Run the downloaded app to enable the "Validate All AUs" mode, re-launch Logic & re-scan your not valid AUs in Logic to get them validated! You'll get rid this way of the [Incompatible] plugin menu voice, and the startup message warning you're using Incompatible Audio Units.

You can use this anytime you want to enable all AUs you want.

It's free and works with automations. Hopefully somebody comes up with a more satisfying solution, but till then enjoy !
Theoretically we can do a bunch more plugins so if you have suggestions on which plugins you would like to see let us know !

PLEASE READ the Readme file before asking questions about validation. Make sure you have installed the right VST, and Jbridge has been installed. And of course, it does not run on Windows.
